Module 3 – Electrical fundamentals

Aircraft electrical systems are self contained network of components that generate, transmit, distribute, utilize and store electrical energy. Starting with the explanation of the electron theory and electricity, continuing with the introduction of resistors, capacitors, inductors and their operation and function, and last transitioning to the more complex AC and DC machines, this module describes almost all major electrical principles involved in aircraft components’ function, being the building block for advanced electrical knowledge and practical troubleshooting.
