About the Course

This course provides mandatory initial and continuation training as required by AMC4 145.A.30(e) and GM1 145.A.30(e). It integrates Safety Management System (SMS) principles with Human Factors (HF) to enhance safety culture and reduce maintenance-related errors.

The program focuses on the interplay between human performance, organizational safety policies, and risk management. Participants will explore how to identify hazards, manage errors effectively, and contribute to a robust internal safety reporting system. It is designed to ensure that all personnel understand their role in maintaining airworthiness and fostering a “Just Culture” within an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).

To Whom It Is Addressed

This training is mandatory for all personnel involved in the maintenance, management, and oversight of aircraft and components within an EASA Part-145 environment. This includes:

✓Nominated Persons and Management: Accountable Managers, safety managers, and senior leadership responsible for safety governance.
✓Supervisory Staff: Line managers, workshop supervisors, and hangar leads.
✓Technical Staff: Certifying staff, support staff, mechanics, and specialized services staff (e.g., NDT).
✓Quality and Safety Personnel: Personnel involved in compliance monitoring, safety management processes, and internal safety investigations.
✓Logistics and Support: Stores department staff and purchasing department staff.
✓Operational Support: Ground equipment operators and any other personnel whose tasks impact the safety of maintenance operations.
